2009 Honored by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa of Los Angeles for artistic contributions to the city

 

2015 Athena (2013) was awarded to the winners of the Albert Maysles New Documentary Director Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival (along with a twenty-five thousand dollar cash prize).
